Create shapes manually
-
Press the cell from the Shape column (from either Parts or Stock). A new window will appear.
-
One can load a shape directly from DXF by pressing the Open DXF button (see more details here on how dxf files should be.)
-
A shape can also be created manually by specifying its attributes (number of vertices, vertices' position, circle's radius and center etc).
-
Press Circle, Rectangle, Polygon, Regular Polygon, L or J button.
-
For circles enter the center and radius.
-
For polygons enter the list of vertices. Also one can specify arcs instead of straight edges.
-
To modify a shape, move the mouse over the edge of the shape until it becomes red. Click it and then press the Edit button.
-
To delete a shape, move the mouse over the edge of the shape until it becomes red. Click it and then press the Delete button.
